Marraskuussa 1980 oli SM Ralli Suomessa. Tunnetaan myös nimellä Northern Lights Rally. Epäilen, että se oli todellakin aika Pohjola Ralli.
Koska joku tietää jotain tarkempaa?
Audi meni sinne kaksi autoa ja 0 pistettä.

Taisi olla ainakin Michele Mouton 0-auto tehtävissä jos oikein muistan...ja jonkun "legendan" mukaan ajoi legendaariselle Putkosen ek:lle ajan jota ei vielä tänäkään päivänä ole rikottu

Hello Stefanie! You are right about that, Audi team was testing here in Oulu / northern lights rally.( Pohjolaralli in finnish). I was then 11 years old and watching the rally in -35c degrees, but then good cameras were rare things. I don´t have pictures about that race but you can ask pictures from Ralf (Rafu) Petterson , he is the man who can help you! Try to get his e-mail adress and ask, his phonenumber in finland is 0400-404118.

Sikäli käännös oli oikeassa, te sanotte, rouva Mouton oli hitaampaa sitten Suomen Juniori kuljettaja?
Jos se olisi ehkä selittää, miksi hän ei ajanut Ruotsin Ralli sitten.
Mutta miksi mitään löytää Internet tästä Ralli? Saa minut ajattelemaan hieman.

Tiedätkö mikä Motorsport klubi oli eventmanager? Niin voisin ottaa yhteyttä heihin pyytää jotain materiaalia.

As far the translation was right, you say, Mrs. Mouton was slower then the finnish Junior driver?
If, it would maybe explain why she did not drive the swedish ralli then.
But why is nothing to find in Internet about this Ralli? Makes me wonder a bit.

Do you know which Motorsport club was the eventmanager? So I could take contact to them to ask for some Material and Infos.

There is a legend about a certain stage called "Putkonen" that Michelle's time is the fastest ever in that stage - I think the writer mma just wanted to correct that legend, that it is not unbreakable, but later has also been broken by junior drivers as well.

But makes me not wonder.
I´m the biggest fan of Marcus Grönholm, and know about the talents , and like Marcus once said, the crazyness of finnish driver. ;))
He laughed so much when he told me this.

This year Pohjola Ralli will be one of events of Ladie's Championship rally in Finland. Let's have see how they are managing in coldness of Nothern Lights!

voi olla et muisti pätkii,mutta sellanen ois "MUTU" että joku ois ajanut joskus putkoseen ennätyksen myös porchella.. oiskos ollut kinnunen.. varmaksi en väitä enkä edes huhuksi,mutta tällasen olen muistaakseni joskus kuullut..

There were two Audi Quattros: Michel Mouton drove 0-car and Fred Kottylinsky drove 00-car.

Mayby the reason why it is hard to find pictures of those is that just then there was a strike going on in newpaper business. There were not many professional photographers taking pictures of a rally that wouldn't be written in newspapers.

Ahhh ok Tim, that explains a lot.
Because so much old finnish rallyes have noticed in internet and a lot of photos.
So it was a bit curious why not from a traditional rallye like the pohjola.
