We have translated the Finnish F-cup technical regulations & series rules in English.

Note! F-cup series organizer has not verified this translation so the translation might have some faults and deficiencies. The whole set of rules are not translated, but the main points.

Is it possible to get these rules and regulations still in English?

It seems the links are broken. : (

I re-uploaded the files, they should work now. I don't remember why I removed them...?

But remember, these are from 2004 so these are partly outdated.

Any translation help with 2010 rules is more than welcome!

Thank you! Also if you have the 2010 one I can possibly get it translated by my family or friends. Link?

Also have a question about those rules you posted.

I dont see anywhere about being able to have/ not have a mid engine car so is it allowed?

Also I dont see it saying that the engine used (and tranny for that matter) have to be from the car your using. So would I be right to assume I can use, say, a honda motor on a corolla?

Thank you!

Hi! I have updated those regulations from 2004 to year 2009 so only minor things are going to change 2010. I will update regulations to 2010 also during next weeks. It would be my pleasure to give that translation to public use but only I don't know how to do it...

Meanwhile I can sent those 2009 regulations if you need them. Only that I have tried to sent private message to PMM and you Lamminparras but somehow I think they are not coming thru? Just give an adress where to send it...

About your questions... You must read group F regulations as you read also FIA regulations: Everything which is not allowed in regulations is forbidden.

So...
Your car must have been homologated previously in group A or 1-4. This is the basic principle. Year 2009 and 2010 all cars accepted to group F are marked in Finnish regulation book with letter f. This you can find from internet www.autourheilu.com > säännöt > tekniikka > XIII Ryhmiin A ja N luokitellut autot. If there is a mid engine car accepted then you can use it but otherwise not.

The engine block must be original homologated engine. Also is allowed to use a similar block looked from outside if it is possible to modify an indentical block. Other freedoms from group A are written in regulations. So engine from other make is not allowed because it is not allowed in regulations.

I just read my inbox - nothing there. You can send the file(s) to pekka.makinen [at] rallikuvat.net. I can upload it/them this evening.

Yes! Awesome! Thank you guys!

Few questions, not sure if I should make a new topic or what, but here I go...

Are all you guys in the E36 BMW's using the 3.0L M3 motor or are you using the Euro 3.2L?? Reason I ask is that the rules stop at 3000cc for the engine.

Also what are the rules for rotary engines? Do they fall into the "cc" they are or is it under another regulation?

Is there a hp max? I see it hard that the guys in the Corolla AE86's are making much more than 200hp out of the 4AGE, so is there anything regulating that?

Last one, is each group (1300cc 1600cc 3000cc etc) placed differentely, as in is there a 1st place for each engine size or is it overall? I heard also that it may be a 1600cc or under class and a above 1600cc class (so two classes). Is this true? Just want to straighten things out since its VERY hard to find this info in English.

Thank you for ANY help you can give, its appreciated GREATLY!

There is no hp max, top 4AGE engines are somewhere around 220-230hp, 200-220nm

There is just one overall classification (which includes all drivers in the same license category), most commonly group F is divided in to under and over 1600cc classes.

Max 3000cc, so 3.0L M3.

If I remember right, rotary engines have cc multiplier of 1.5, so Max rotary engine size would be 3.0/1.5=2.0 and the car would use the minimum weight of 3000cc.

Someone may correct that rotary engine stuff if it went wrong

The rules are now already a bit old, and we have not done/received a newer version. If someone has done translations of the new 2013 rules, please provide those and we will surely upload them for downloading....

Can you send me rules for 2010 so that I can take unchanged parts from it? I have only 2004 rules.
