Mads Østberg: „We had a good day but still I’m not totally satisfied. We’re going to do some changes in setup and trying to get the confidence back after Rally Bohemia. Thierry is pushing also and we’re doing the same.”
Thierry Neuville: „I’m pretty satisfied with the day. On the last stage I lost some time but it’s okey. With no test and just two rounds in shakedown before the rally we should be happy having second place. Some setups were also tested.”
On the third place after the first day are Georg Gross ja Raigo Mõlder (Ford Focus WRC) losing 43 seconds to the leaders. On the fourth place are Martin Prokop and Zdenek Hruza (Ford Fiesta RS WRC), losing to leaders 1.01,9. First S2000 crew is Karl Kruuda and Martin Järveoja (Ford Fiesta S2000), leaders in Group N are Kaspar Koitla and Alo Ivask (Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 9). A6/N3 leaders are Markus Abram and Jarmo Võsa (Honda Civic Type-R) and in National group Marko Mänty and Joni Mäkelä (Honda Civic Type-R). auto24 Rally Estonia continues on Saturday with seven stages.
