Based off the popular Gymkhana driving technique, Ford Gymkhana Grid features drivers competing head to head on a specifically designed course consisting of cones, tires, barrels and other obstacles – slaying a serious amount of tires and creating an impressive smoke-‐filled atmosphere in the process.
“I am super pumped that they have included (Gymkhana) Grid in X Games, it’s a really fun event. The style of driving is something that comes naturally to me. Doran competed in the 2012 Gymkhana Grid Finals with Monster Energy teammates Ken Block and Vaughn Gittin Jr. in Europe (www.gymkhanagrid.com) where Doran and Block raced head to head, putting together an incredible, smoke-‐filled show for the fans.
