The list of previous winners and owners of auto24 Rally Estonia trophy helmets is impressive. In 2010 when Rally Estonia was held for the first time, the winner was Markko Märtin with Kristo Kraag driving Ford Focus WRC 03. In 2011 and 2012 Mads Østberg was the man who took helmets to Norway. After winning in 2012 he promised that the second helmet goes to his co-driver Jonas Andresson. They were driving Ford Fiesta RS WRC in both years. Last years trophy helmet went to Georg Gross who later won Estonian Rally Championship driving Ford Focus WRC 08 with his co-driver Raigo Mõlder.
FIA European Rally Championship is the longest running rally championship, celebrating 62 years in 2014. Starting from 2013, the promotor of the series is Eurosport Events who made a 10-year-agreement with the FIA.
In addition to being a part of ERC in 2014, auto24 Rally Estonia is also a round of FIA European Historic Sporting Rally Championship and Estonian Autorally Championship. auto24 Rally Estonia is held on 17-19th of July.
