Pärn started the last day with the stage win and beating main rival Tom Cave wit 6,1 seconds. The gap between them was 33,7 seconds. Altough Cave was faster in the next stage Pärn and Morgan managed to increase the gap and keep their position. In the end of the last stage the gap between Pärn and Cave was half a minute.
„It was a difficult rally and there was many places in the stages where it was possible to brake the car. From Saturday were we controlling the rally altough we gave away some time in the long stage. Today we started very good and we collected from Rally Poland very valuable points. Our plan to save the car in hard conditions worked and we are very satisfied with the result and our pace. It is good to go to Rally Finland with the victories from first two rounds,” said Pärn after Rally Poland.
James Morgan was also very pleased withe the result. „Sander did a good job saving the car and showing some very good speed where it was nessecary. We didn’t had any problems at all,” told Morgan.
Third round of Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy is Rally Finland. Before that are Pärn and Morgan starting in auto24 Rally Estonia, round of FIA ERC, held on 17-19th of July.
