– the stages are 90% tarmac and 10% gravel

Due to private teams the competition will not start on Thursday, we will start on Friday morning with the issue of the Roadbook. After it the teams can write their own pacenotes (RECCE). We offer a free organization pacenote, so maybe the teams have to drive over the stages only for two times to control it and reduce some fuel-money.
The administrative check and scrutineering (sealing and marking) will be on Friday afternoon. For foreign teams we will give the latest time for scrutineering, so the service crews have time enough to arrive on Friday afternoon.
Start for the first leg is on Friday evening at 20:00 o’clock (8pm) with one spectator stage (3 laps – 10km), just before 10.000 spectators. The stage is prepared with floodlight and the smell of fried sausages, beer and oil fills the air.
On Saturday the re-start is at the morning and legendary stages, like the Schotten-Ring, Schwalmtal and Niederaula are on the program. Finish of the Rallye is at Saturday afternoon – 18:00 o’clock (6pm). The pricegiving ceremony follows after the chequered-flag.
