For modern cars there was three stages today, Historic cars didn’t drive the Otepää Super Special. Gross and Mõlder won two from three stages, Karl Kruuda and Martin Järveoja (Ford Fiesta R5) were fastest on Otepää Super Special. Second overall are Alexey Lukjanuk and Alexey Arnautov (Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 9) who are leaders on N4 category. They losing to Gross 13,2 seconds. Third overall and second in N4 are Egon Kaur and Erik Lepikson (Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X), losing to Lukjanuk 6,7 seconds.
Leaders in 2WD class are WRC Junior regulars Sander Pärn and Ken Järveoja (Ford Fiesta R2) and in National class Ago and Kalle Aho are having a good battle with Einar Laipaik and Siimo Suvemaa. Gap between two crews driving BMW M3 is just 5,6 seconds.
In Historic cars everything went logically, Jari-Matti Latvala and Asko Sairanen didn’t have any problems and Volkswagen Motorsport works driver, who drives here Audi Quattro has a lead over one minute. In the second place is Valter Jensen with Eric Pedersen, their car is also legendary – Lancia 037. In the third place in Historic cars are Ville Silvasti and Jonne Halttunen (Porsche 911 RS).
Auto24 Rally Estonia continues on Saturday with six stages, first Historic car will start to the first stage 9.48, first modern car 11.15. Historic cars winner will be in podium 16.30, auto24 Rally Estonia winner 18.00
