According to pre event registration there were 4 participants in Division 1 class and this round
would have been the best Division 1 class start ever in Estonian Rallycross history. Because of
different reasons only two competitors started – Finns Risto Simonen (Proton Satria Evolution) and
Voito Hassi (Subaru Impreza). Hassi could not fight for the first place because his car has 100
horse powers less than Simonen”s car has and also Hassi said that it was his first rallycross start
ever. Division 1 win went to Risto Simonen.
Other classes three podium positions:
ERC Junior: Sander Roosimaa (VW Golf), Janno Ligur (Lada Samara), Joosep Hütt (VW Golf).
ERC Standard: Janno Õis (VW Golf), Rainer Schultz (Lada Samara), Erki Külvi (VW Golf)
ERC: Martin Saar (VW Golf), Silver Havamaa (Honda Civic Type-R), Ove Pärtelson (VAZ 2108).
The next Estonian Rallycross Championship event is on 9. May on Taali track.
