Local hero Aris Vovos climbed up a place and finished the event 12th overall with a comfortable lead on Sarrazin by 4’07”9, fourth amongst privateer drivers.
It has been a great weekend for the Atolye Kazaz team as both cars made it to the finish on their first WRC event with two Subaru Impreza S10 WRC.

We are really happy with the result. Acropolis Rally was our first event with two S10 WRC cars so it’s a great result for the team to finish right behind manufacturer teams. We have a team of experienced, dedicated and passionate professionals who all share the same passion for competing at the highest level of motorsports.

The car felt great all weekend and I’m quite happy with the result. Although my goal was to finish in the top 8, but because of few mistakes I did on Friday, we had a bad starting position on Saturday and Sunday. So there was no real chance to improve our place. I’m really happy that I finished my first event with the car. Looking forward to Finland as it will be my home event.

It was really hard for us to be the first car on the stages. But our car performed well and we managed to finish our home event in a strong position.
