Rainer Aus: „We decided to attack on the last two stages and everything worked like we wanted. We are very pleased with the result, good opening round for the season.
Janis Vorobjovs: „We were late on breaking and we missed a junction. There we lost our chance to win the rally.”
Siim Plangi and Marek Sarapuu finished third losing 25,2 seconds to Aus.
Fastest 2WD drivers were Markus Abram and Jarmo Võsa (Honda Civic Type-R). Their overall result was 13th and they were winners in class N3. Class A6 winners were Miko-Ove Niinemäe and Martin Valter (Ford Fiesta R2) and in class A7 Priit Ollino and Urmas Roosimaa (Renault Clio R3). Aleksei Lukjanuk and Aleksei Arnautov (Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 7) were fastest in E12, Allan Ilves and Meelis Orgla in A8 Arnautov (Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 8). In National class Ago and Kalle Aho took the first place, they were also winners in class E11. In E9 the fastest were Jaan Pettai and Raino Verliin (Lada Samara) and in E10 Janis Berkis and Edgars Ceporjus (Ford Fiesta).
