„We achieved a good result at Acropolis rally. The aim in Findland will be the same. We want to be on the podium again to score good points for the championship standings,” explained Pärn. Sander, who has been competing in Neste rally two times beofre, is feeling confident before the event. „We have had two national rallies, which we have both won in our category. Beside that we have been also testing quite intensively, so the preparaitions have gone smoothly this time,” added Pärn.

There are a lot of strong competitors who all aim to finish at top three in Junior’s category on saturday. „Pontus Tidemand, Oscar Suarez, Andreas Amberg and Murat Bostanci are all very fast. It will not be easy at all, but we are ready for the battle,” said Pärn. Sander’s co-driver Ken Järveoja added that the finnish rally is known as one of the most important for them and so they will need to get a strong result from that event. „As Finland is just across the sea from Estonia, we are hoping that there will be a lot os fans coming to see cheer us,” said Ken.

This years’s Neste Oil Rally Finland will kick off with a shakedown on wednesday eavning. „The start of the event itself will be on thursday at noon, when the first cars will start to tackle the speacial stages of the rally. Rally finish is been held in saturday eavning with a final ceremony which will be traditionally held at servis park at Paviljonki.
