„Saaremaa Rally is always something special. As Radik Shaymiev has decided not to start in Saaremaa and the Ford Fiesta R5 was already prepared, Markko Märtin made us an offer we could’nt refuse. We thank also DMACK who is also in this cooperation and we are looking forward this event. We did 35 km test before the event and the feeling is good altough we were driving R5 car last time in Neste Oil Rally Finland. The competition is here always strong and I’m sure we will have a good battle with other Estonian drivers driving Group N Mitsubishi’s,“ said Sander Pärn before the event.
For Pärn and Morgan it is a second start in Estonian Rally Championship this year. They won the first round in Võrumaa Winter Rally. Their main focus this year was WRC 2 as they started in four events (Portugal, Italy, Poland, Finland).
48. Silveston Saaremaa Rally starts on Friday with with three special stages. Seven more stages on Saturday and total 111,45 kilometers are waiting for the drivers.
