In 2012 Sten will take part in Finnish Championship and at least two rounds in European Rallycross Chapionship (Sweden, Höljes and Finland, Kouvola). Reining Estonian champion Sten will take part in two or maybe more rounds in Estonian Championship. The goal for 2013 is full season and champion’s title in ERC 2013. The next step depends on wether there will be World Championship in Rallycross in near future. We all know that there has been lot of talking about ERC turning into World Championship. If everything goes like planned then in 2014 Sten and his crew see Sten competing in top team and in 2015 fighting for the world champion’s title.
Sten Oja: „Reason why we choosed this year Finnish Championship is that so can we learn new tracks and how to drive fast on different tracks. Also competition in Super Car is good 20 cars hopefully in every round sounds good. We want to be in TOP 3 in rounds of Finnish championship and in European Championship we want to reach the A-Final.”
Sten Oja will use this year same car like last year. Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 6 with 530 bhp. But comparing to the last year lots of changes have been made to the car.
Sten Oja: „Car is faster, suspension is working much better. I like to thank my team who has prepared a perfect car for me and making it all happen. Looking forward to the first start this weekend in Finland.”
